Huabao Donated Epidemic Prevention Materials to Lhasa Economic and Technological Development Zone in Tibet

On the morning of August 23, 2022, the truck carrying the epidemic prevention materials donated by Huabao to Lhasa Economic and Technological Development Zone in Tibet departed from Shanghai Huabao Industrial Park. President and Director of Huabao Ms. YUAN Xiaoqin, Vice-President and CFO of Huabao Mr. ZHANG Jie, Vice President and Secretary of the Board of Huabao Ms. HOU Xiaoqin, Assistant President of Huabao Group and General Manager of Lhasa Huabao Mr. YANG Cheng and Chairman of the Trade Union Federation of Huabao Shanghai Industrial Park and Director of Huabao Human Resource and Administration Department Ms. CHEN Jing inspected the scene and helped carry the epidemic prevention materials onto the truck under the high temperature above 40 degrees Celsius. President YUAN said that we would like to make our contributions to helping the Tibetan people overcome the temporary difficulties and hoped that the epidemic would dissipate soon.

In the face of COVID-19 breakout in Tibet on August 8, the Company reacted immediately. While ensuring the health and safety of our staff in Tibet, we properly have made various work arrangements to minimize the impact of the epidemic on our work. At the same time, we have been very concerned about the development of the epidemic and maintained contact with Tibet Autonomous Region, Lhasa City and Lhasa Economic and Technological Development Zone. As soon as we learned that Lhasa Economic and Technological Development Zone was in urgent shortage of epidemic prevention materials, we took action rapidly. Under the leadership of Ms. YUAN Xiaoqin and the joint efforts of all parties, we got contact with the supplier, and purchased the epidemic prevention materials, and then donated the first batch of epidemic prevention materials to Lhasa Economic and Technological Development Zone. The first batch of epidemic prevention materials include 3,000 sets of protective suits, 3,000 face masks, 3,000 N95 masks, 10,000 disposable medical masks, 3,200 pairs of surgical gloves and 1,200 bottles of disinfection gel, with a total value of about RMB 200,000 yuan.

As a responsible listed company that has actively responded to the call of Shanghai Municipal People’s Government to aid Tibet and relocated from Shanghai to Tibet, Huabao has earnestly inherited and carried forward the “Apirit to Aid Tibet”.
