Meeting in Shanghai promoted common prosperity between Shanghai and Xizang| Ms. YUAN Xiaoqin attended the signing ceremony of Shanghai-Xizang office cooperation and exchange framework agreement

From the foot of Mount Qomolangma to the banks of the Huangpu River, and between the lofty snow-capped mountain and the bustling city, the cooperation between Shanghai and Xizang is moving towards a new chapter. On June 27, 2024, the signing ceremony of Shanghai-Xizang office cooperation and exchange framework agreement and the opening ceremony of the Shanghai Liaison Office of Xizang Autonomous Region Shanghai Chamber of Commerce were held in Shanghai. CHEN Xiaoyun, Secondary Inspector of the Cooperation and Exchange Office of Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, QIU Chuan, Secretary and Director of the Leading Party Group of People’s Government of Xizang Autonomous Region Office in Shanghai, PENG Yihao, Director of Shanghai Municipal People’s Government Office in Xizang and other leaders attended the event.

Huabao Flavours & Fragrances Co., Ltd. (“Huabao” or “Company”) is an executive vice president unit of Xizang Autonomous Region Shanghai Chamber of Commerce. Ms. YUAN Xiaoqin, President and Director of Huabao, was invited to attend this event, and witnessed this important historic moment with the leaders and enterprise representatives present. She also personally issued the appointment letter for the Shanghai-Xizang enterprise service cooperation and exchange expert group, which demonstrated Huabao’s firm determination in promoting cooperation between Shanghai and Xizang.

Shanghai and Xizang are making joint efforts for better future. The cooperation between Shanghai and Xizang carries profound historical significance and broad development vision. This event is not only an important milestone in the course of cooperation between the two sides, but also a ringing horn to open a new chapter of comprehensive cooperation between the two places, marking a new blueprint for cooperation between Shanghai and Xizang.

Huabao was originally founded in Shanghai. Since Huabao settled in Xizang in 2016, it has been following the guidance of the Communist Party of China and the People’s Republic of China, actively responding to the call of national policies, and consciously connecting its own development with the development of Xizang. After eight years of hard work, fruitful results have been yielded. On the journey of facilitating the high-quality economic and social development in Xizang, Huabao has fulfilled its responsibility and contributed nearly RMB 700 million to local taxes. In promoting borderland construction, ethnic integration and improvement of people’s livelihood, it has actively performed social responsibilities and demonstrated its mission. It has taken various measures to facilitate rural revitalization in Xizang. And the Company’s practice case of rural revitalization has been successfully included in the “Excellent Practice Cases of Rural Revitalization of Listed Companies” compiled by China Association for Public Companies (CAPCO).
