Joining Hands for Win-win Chairwoman of CAFFCI YAN Jiangying and Her Delegation visited Huabao for Investigation

To enhance industry exchanges and strengthen practical cooperation, Ms. YAN Jiangying, Chairwoman of China Association of Fragrance Flavour and Cosmetic Industries (hereinafter referred to as “CAFFCI”), and Mr. MU Min, Secretary General of CAFFCI, visited Huabao Shanghai Industrial Park on the afternoon of April 16, 2024 for investigation. Ms. YUAN Xiaoqin, Director and President of Huabao Group, and Mr. YANG Cheng, Assistant President of Huabao Group, and other leaderships of the Company warmly received the delegation.
Ms. YUAN accompanied them to visit the Exhibition Hall of the Company, and introduced the overall situation, global layout, development course and business development of Huabao. Ms. YAN fully affirmed Huabao’s achievements in developing innovative flavors and exploring new development patterns of flavors, and tasted related flavor products with great interest.
At the subsequent symposium, Ms. YUAN first warmly welcomed Ms. YAN and the delegation to visit Huabao for investigation. Then Mr. YANG Cheng introduced the development of Huabao to them in detail. Both parties had in-depth exchanges on topics such as the development trend of China’s flavor and fragrance industry, the industry focus, and the high-quality redevelopment of China’s flavor enterprises.
Ms. YUAN said, “In recent year, with upholding the original mission of ‘Green, Nutritious and Healthy’, Huabao has actively adjusted the industrial structure, vigorously developed the food ingredients business, taken the practice of ESG as the ‘passport’ of the Company’s high-quality development, and driven the transformation of new quality productivity and sustainable development with innovation. At the same time, Huabao actively responds to the ‘Belt and Road’ Initiative, constantly promotes the process of internationalization, and actively takes on the responsibility to bring the national flavours & fragrances brand to the world.”
Ms. YUAN pointed out, “As the Vice-chairman Unit of CAFFCI, Huabao has played a leading role in the industry, and taken advantage of CAFFCI as a platform to strengthen exchanges in the industry, and expand information resources sharing. Huabao will actively participate in a series of activities sponsored and organized by CAFFCI such as China Perfumer Vocational Skill Competition, annual popular fragrance trend release, industry science and technology congresses, ESG group standard formulation, 2024 Annual Industry Meeting and the CAFFCI 40th Anniversary Achievement Exhibition. Huabao will work together with CAFFCI to cooperate closely with the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain for mutual benefit and win-win, thus to jointly promote the development of the industrial cluster, and cultivate new advantages for high-quality development of China’s flavour and fragrance industry.
After listening to the relevant introduction, Ms. YAN affirmed and praised the achievements and business development strategy of Huabao in recent years. She pointed out that, “Huabao has a solid industrial structure. We hope Huabao can continue to play its own advantages of scientific and technological R&D and innovation, aim at and grasp the core competitiveness of perfume and essence, and actively explore new markets and promote new categories on the basis of consolidating the main business, so as to achieve high-quality leap-forward re-development.”
Ms. YAN also introduced a series of activities such as the Science and Technology Congress of China Fragrance, Flavour and Cosmetic Industries, 2024 Annual Meeting and CAFFCI 40th Anniversary Achievement Exhibition to be organized by CAFFCI, and invited Huabao to join in these activities. She said, “CAFFCI attaches great importance to the ‘head goose’ leading effect of Huabao in the industry. CAFFCI will play the role of a bridge to strengthen communication and exchanges with enterprises, and join hands with Huabao and other leading enterprises to build a strong chain in the flavour and fragrance industry and build an industrial ecology of upstream and downstream coordination. We hope that Huabao could continue to grow bigger and stronger, lead Chinese local flavor and fragrance enterprises to integrate into the international market, and contribute Huabao’s strength to the development and growth of China’s flavour and fragrance industry.
