Seeking "Flavor" in Autumn | Trade Union Federation of Huabao Shanghai Industrial Park held an employee activity in the autumn of 2023

In this golden October, the fragrance of rice and beans drifted on the breeze from the fields. In this harvest season, a group of passionate and energetic Huabao employees came to Zhangjiagang, Suzhou, to return to nature in search for delicious foods in autumn.

To further improve the construction of corporate culture, practice the ESG employee care concept, enrich employees' leisure cultural life, enhance corporate cohesion and team creativity, from October 20 to 21, Trade Union Federation of Huabao Shanghai Industrial Park (“Trade Union Federation”) organized an employee team building activity themed by "Seeking 'Flavor' in Autumn" (“Activity”) in Zhangjiagang, Suzhou. The main idea of this Activity is to get close to the countryside and savor the fruits of autumn. Through experiencing agricultural fun games and targeted group building, employees can reap the delicious foods in autumn through labor, and promote team collaboration and friendship in tasks.

On the first day of the Activity, everyone came to the planting and picking garden. The team organized an agricultural fun games competition through the form of production groups. Each group engaged in agricultural games competitions such as lifting tires, carrying water, planting seedlings, plowing corn, plowing the land, and making scarecrow. The scene was filled with happy laughter and cheerful voices in a warm atmosphere. In games competitions, the team coordinated and cooperated together, not only gaining knowledge about agricultural activities, but also exercising physical fitness and stimulating team energy.

Subsequently, each group completed the vegetable picking task on site to earn points, and used the picked vegetables to make dinner, experiencing the joy of labor. Everyone gathered together and began to showcase their culinary skills. Each group had a clear division of labor, including those who trimmed vegetables, washed vegetables, cut vegetables, fried vegetables, and tended the kitchen fire, etc. Everyone was enthusiastic and busy. The evening breeze brought a hint of coolness, but the scene was full of enthusiasm and warmth.

On the second day of the Activity, each group received task books to complete the targeted team building tasks. Targeted tasks once again integrated team collaboration, execution, and efficiency throughout. Each group member showcased their abilities and made great efforts to strive for the top spot. Finally, based on the total points of each group for two days, the top three will be awarded prizes.

After the Activity, Mr. MU Jieqiang, Vice Chairman of Trade Union Federation, gave a concluding speech and expressed great gratitude to everyone for their understanding and support.  “Through the two-day team building arrangements, we not only appreciated the charm of each group, but also saw the demeanor of each employee. No pains, no gains. In this Activity, everyone achieved delicious labor results through their own efforts, helping their own group win points; each group member performed their duties and did their best. When cooking dinner, each group member can quickly found a suitable job based on their own advantages, and everyone worked together in an orderly manner to present us with delicious dishes. A good enterprise cannot develop without good employees, and good employees promote better development of the enterprise. The Trade Union Federation will continue to play the role of a bridge and link, assisting the development of employees and the enterprise, achieving mutual achievements between employees and the enterprise, and moving forward in both directions.” said he.

The employee team building activity in this autumn has enriched employees' leisure cultural life, deepened communication and understanding among members, enhanced team centripetal force, cohesion, and combat effectiveness, and helped everyone relax outside of the tense work, and devote themselves to the following work with a more enthusiastic and pragmatic attitude.
