Why Go with the Tide? I Just Hold My Own Stance! - The Team Building Activity of Shenzhen SPV in 2021 

On August 28, 2021, the weather was wonderful with warm sun and comfortable breeze. In order to enhance the sense of teamwork, give play to the cooperation and coordination ability between colleagues, improve the employees’ physical quality, and enhance the sense of group honor, Shenzhen SPV Technology Co., Ltd. (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hubao) carried out a team building activity themed by “Why Go with the Tide? I Just Hold My Own Stance!”

The venue of the activity was Dongyong, located at the southernmost tip of Dapeng Peninsula in the southeast of Shenzhen, with birds’ twitter and fragrance of flowers in verdant and thick jungle and the vast blue sea at its back.

Under the guidance of the coach, we carried out a series of interesting activities. Under the background of the sea and the jungle, we played such games as “Peach Blossoms”, “Fetching Water from a Distance” and “Water Relay”, in which we experienced the team spirit of mutual care, mutual trust and mutual encouragement, got a profound understanding of the meaning of “cohesion” for individuals, teams and organizations, and deepened the attachment between team members.

In the games, the participants firstly determined the team leaders, team names, team songs and slogans, and then finished various tasks, in which members of each team responded actively to offer advice, try repeatedly, encourage each other, and try best to finish their own part, well achieving the training effect for teamwork, self-challenge, sense of group honor, and positive dedication.

This team building activity gave us an opportunity to reach a tacit understanding and become mature in sincerity, learn in practice and change in experience, which not only improved our personal resilience, but also enhanced our personal confidence and the sense of belonging to the team.
