Splendid Achievements and Common Development - To Celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Peaceful Liberation of Tibet

A grand gathering to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the peaceful liberation of Tibet was held in Lhasa on August 19, 2021.
Over the 70 years, Tibet has welcomed stupendous changes, and it is now at a new historical starting point of its development. As an enterprise in Tibet, it is a great honor and pride for Huabao to have participated in the economic construction of Tibet and shared the development achievements of Tibet since Hubao moved to Lhasa in 2016.
Since its settlement in Tibet, Huabao has made great achievements under the care and guidance of the Party and government departments and leaders at all levels. Huabao has always adhered to the value of “shared achievements”, and is fully aware of the social responsibilities and obligations as an enterprise citizen. Since our settlement in Tibet, we have been working hard to expand and strengthen our enterprises and participate in the economic development. At the same time, we are also very concerned about the poverty alleviation work in Tibet, and we are doing our best to help Tibet comprehensively get rid of poverty. By the end of 2019, Tibet had lifted itself out of poverty, entering a new stage of consolidating and expanding its achievements in poverty alleviation and effectively linking it with rural vitalization. Thus, Huabao has also moved from “helping Tibet eliminate poverty” to “actively participating in the rural revitalization”. We will do our best to contribute to the construction of beautiful countryside, and make unremitting efforts to "build a beautiful and happy Tibet and together fulfill the great dream of the national rejuvenation”.
Fight for Poverty Alleviation and Beautiful Countryside
In July 2017, Huabao donated school bags, Xinhua Dictionary and stationery to all primary school students in Qushui County.
In July 2018, Huabao contributed money to building a dairy farming base in Gupa Village, Naqu Town, to help Tibetan herdsmen get rid of poverty and become better off.
In December 2019, Huabao contributed money to boosting the targeted poverty alleviation in Tibet.
In January 2020, contributed money to the caring and supporting fund of Deji Kangsa Community in Lhasa Economic Development Zone to consolidate and expand the achievements in poverty alleviation.
In December 2020, Huabao contributed money to Yula Village of Zhaba Township in Tibet for construction of beautiful countryside.
In the future, Huabao will actively participate in the initiative to build a beautiful countryside and revitalize the countryside, and forge ahead together for “rural revitalization and beautiful countryside”.
Leadership Care
At the Contract-Signing Ceremony of Investment Promotion Projects of Lhasa Sho Dun Festival in September 2016, QI Zhala, Member of the Tibet Autonomous Region Party Committee and Secretary of Lhasa Municipal Party Committee, GUO Guo, Mayor of Lhasa and other leaders cordially received the leaders of Huabao, and conducted an in-depth exchange on Huabao’s investment in Lhasa.

On the morning of December 10, 2018, a delegation of Party and government representatives of Tibet led by QI Zhala, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of Tibet and President of Tibet, visited Lhasa Industry Exchange (Qinhuai, Nanjing) Center. Mr. YANG Cheng, General Manager of Lhasa Huabao Food Co., Ltd. and special representative of President YUAN Xiaoqin, made an introduction for QI Zhala at the exhibition stand of Huabao. QI Zhala expressed compliments to the accomplishments and contributions Huabao had made since its settlement in Lhasa, and encouraged Huabao to get larger and stronger, thus supporting Lhasa’s industrial development and Tibet's economic development.

Tax Contributions
By June 30, 2021, Huabao have contributed tax revenue of more than 532 million yuan in Tibet.
