The 8th Congress and the Annual Meeting of China Association of Fragrance Flavour and Cosmetic Industry 2016 Kicks Off

Huabao Flavours & Fragrances under Huabao International Elected as Deputy Director, H&K and Xiamen Amber, Subsidiaries of Huabao International, Elected as Executive Directors, Manifesting the Group’s Development Strength and Industrial Influence

The 8th Congress and the Annual Meeting of China Association of Fragrance Flavour and Cosmetic Industry 2016 was held in Suzhou Xiangshan International Hotel beside Taihu Lake from September 26 to 29. Deputy Directors, Executive Directors, Directors and Member Units of the Association, related personnel, enterprises in the industrial chains of flavours and fragrances and cosmetic industries, including supply of raw materials, equipment and packaging materials, and beauty salons, have presented on the congress. The total number of attendants has exceeded 500. President YUAN Xiaoqin of Huabao Flavours & Fragrances Co., Ltd. has attended the Congress and was involved in business communication with industrial colleagues. 

 Since the 7th Session Administrative Committee of China Association of Fragrance Flavour and Cosmetic Industry has fulfilled its 5-year missions, a key agenda in this Congress was to re-elect members for the 8th Session Administrative Committee, General Director, Deputy Director and Executive Directors in accordance with the constitutions of the Association. By virtue of the important role and industrial influence at home and abroad of Huabao International, subsidiaries Huabao Flavours & Fragrances was re-elected as Deputy Director, Shanghai H&K Flavours & Fragrances Co., Ltd. and Xiamen Amber Daily Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. were re-elected as Executive Directors.

Directed by the “13th Five-Year Plan”, domestic flavours and fragrances industry emphasizes reform on the supply side and practices Internet Plus policy and initiative, to lead the development of the industry under new normal with new thinking and maintain an overall sustainable development of the industry. To sum up past experience, gather an agreed account of development and achieve creative development of the whole industry, this Congress has specially invited leaders from related state, provincial and municipal departments, experts from related international organizations and industrial associations, and mainstream media, to share their instructions and thoughts on the meeting. Many giant players in domestic fragrance flavour and cosmetic industry and representatives from international colleagues like International Organization of Flavor Industry, International Fragrance Association, Cosmetic Europe, US Personal Care Products Council, Japan Cosmetic Industry Association and Korean Cosmetic Association, have presented on the Congress. It was rated as a grand gathering of international fragrance flavour and cosmetic industries and of great significance and influence to the development of these industries.

General Director CHEN Shaojun has reported on the work of the 7th Session Administrative Committee on the congress. The Constitution of China Association of Fragrance Flavour and Cosmetic Industry and related reports, such as the development planning for fragrance flavour industry and cosmetic industry during the “13th Five-Year” period, have been approved by the Congress through deliberation. The 5th High-Level Enterprise Forum and Industrial Information Release, the 10th High-Level Forum on China Flavors and Fragrances, the 5th International High-Level Cosmetic Forum, the inaugural meeting of Brand Building Committee and Brand Building Forum, Exhibition of Creative Accomplishments and Industry Chains in China Fragrance Flavour and Cosmetic Industry, and Enterprise Image Demonstration, have been organized and held during the Congress period.
